I help athletes perform at the level they have trained for, even when pressure, fatigue or doubt kick in. No empty motivation. Practical tools you can use in training and on the start line.
Most races aren’t lost in the legs. They’re lost in the head, the moment it starts burning and you hear “I can’t do this.”

What I work on
The six things athletes come to me with most often.
You can’t sleep, can’t eat, and keep playing scenarios in your head. We’ll turn those nerves into fuel instead of a handbrake.
When your body screams “stop”. What to tell yourself, where to put your focus and how to hold pace when it hurts.
It works in training, not on race day. We build confidence based on the work you’ve done, not on your mood.
Your body is back, your head isn’t yet. Fear of movement, and fear it will never feel the same again.
Motivation swings, perfectionism, all-or-nothing thinking. We set up a process you can stick to, even in the rough weeks.
Your pre-start routine and what to do when something goes wrong. Your head needs a plan just like your legs do.
Who it’s for
You don’t have to be a pro. You just need a goal and the feeling that your head is holding you back.
I know this from the inside. I coach and race HYROX, I run the HYROX Training Club, and every week I see athletes who are fitter than what they show on race day.
Mental preparation isn’t magic. It’s training like any other. It has structure, repetition and measurable results.
This is what I do with athletes in the start corral. Inhale, hold, exhale, hold. One minute and your heart rate drops and your head comes back to the present.
Not just for athletes
Your mind makes the difference off the race course too. I work with anyone who wants to handle pressure, believe in themselves and go after their goals.
Pressure at work, big decisions, lost motivation or the feeling you’re stuck. We find what’s holding you back and set steps you can actually take.
Nerves before a test or a match, fear of mistakes, low self-esteem. I work with kids in a playful way and in their language, and parents are part of the process.
Race nerves, performing under fatigue, coming back from injury. Mental preparation that works in training and on race day.
How it works
No endless sessions without direction. Every step has a purpose.
Free. You tell me what’s bothering you and where you want to go. I tell you honestly if I can help.
We go through your sporting history, the races that went wrong and the ones that went right. We look for patterns.
Online or in person in Prague. Between sessions you get specific tasks to take into training.
The race is the exam. Afterwards we review what worked and what to adjust next time.
In action
From training sessions and races where I work with people right on the floor.

About me
Coach, athlete and mental coach.
I’m Ria. I coach athletes, I race myself, and I know what it feels like when your body is ready and your head isn’t. That’s exactly why I went all in on mental coaching.
My work is built on what works in practice. No generic textbook advice. Specific tools you test in training and use when it matters most.
FAQ
What people ask me most often.
No. Mental coaching is focused on performance and specific goals. If you’re dealing with something that belongs with a psychologist or therapist, I’ll tell you straight and point you to the right place.
No. All you need is a sporting goal and the feeling that your head is holding you back more than it should.
Yes, most sessions happen online. In person, we can meet in Prague. Sessions in English are no problem.
You’ll use the first tools right after the first session. Bigger changes in how you race come over a few weeks of regular work.
